How to begin picking your color scheme

OK brides: let’s talk color schemes.   Maybe you’ve picked your colors; maybe you’ve picked your favorite colors, maybe you’re still figuring them out.  But sometimes the colors you pick, which look good in your mind, don’t look good in reality.  But ByBecca is here to help.  With a little forethought and a few simple tools, you can choose a professional-looking color scheme that will compliment your wedding and personality.

Here are few things to consider:

   The Season:
A color scheme based on the season of your wedding is a great starting point for the confused bride.  Seasonally appropriate colors create a common thread to tie your wedding together.

    The Location:
The location of your wedding is like the setting of a play; it is the backdrop of your pictures, video, and ceremony.  Colors that will coordinate well with your location will create the same cohesive thread as a seasonally based color scheme.

Keeping current with wedding and fashion trends will help keep your wedding stylish and fresh.  Choosing coordinating dresses and decorations that are in your same color scheme will be more accessible in stores if you select what is in trend.  Choosing out of trend colors, accessories, or dresses will require more legwork.

More to come on color schemes tomorrow.
