Happenings at ByBecca

Well, things at ByBecca have certainly been interesting since Thanksgiving. We took the trip to see family and friends in New Jersey. Which I'm happy to report we did with relatively little traffic. While we were there we even managed to bump into my daughter, who lives 2 hours away in Richmond. So that was fun. Then during the first week of December my very first employee, Erica came to visit and she helped us install our very first wine glass sculpture.

We made a Christmas Tree out of wine glasses and installed it at a restaurant in Norfolk, VA for an event called Art After Dark. We had a great time creating it and buying all the things that would sit under the tree and hang from it. Its always so nice when old friends visit. :)

A couple of days day after that show opened, Cheli told me that she'd heard about an Art Bazaar being run by a local gallery, so I wrote to them and they accepted my work. Yay, but then I had to rush and make some things to show. Then there were the wholesale customers to take care of, and our regular customers, etc., etc., etc.

Oh, did I mention that we also had to make two trips to New Jersey, and by the time it was time to go for Christmas, we were just too tired to think about it. But, of course, we weren't done. We had to help my brother buy a car. We did decide to buy the car here though, and after we pick it up, we'll be driving it to him in New Jersey. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Hopefully, after we get back we can settle in and enjoy a nice calm New Year's Eve/Day, and get back to normal on Tuesday.
